Thesis title: 'Sustainable development: Why is it not delivering on its promises?'
Interdisciplinary project that studied what combination of socio-economic and governance factors hinder sustainable development under the current economic system/paradigm. Conceptual and empirical models built for different countries, which (1) examine the impact of conflicts between economic forces (e.g. banks, corporations) and conservation forces (environmental governance and policies) on natural capital, and (2) explore future sustainable scenarios showing win-win economic, environmental contexts.

Member of an audit team, responsible for performing environmental and energy audits for national and international companies. Tasks included: assessment of waste water and water supply, soil contamination, air pollution and energy efficiency. Outcomes: I proposed and got accepted a project focused on expanding Enviros’ operations in Spain.
